I updated my GroupWise 8 to the latest hot patch, I checked every thing but the webaccess login. When I went to https://server.domain/gw/webacc the page was blank with no errors. Checked the logs did not find any errors.
Started with the first to in my trouble shooting tool kit, Google. Did a search on the problem, found a reference on NetWare but not on Linux. Finally found a reference on the GWAVA support site. I called GWAVA support, not that this was a problem caused by their product, but I figured they could give me an idea where to look.
Support logged into my system, the tech found that three jar file that the permissions were wrong. The tech changed the permissions and resolved the problem. The Directory was /var/opt/novell/tomcat5/webapps/gw/WEB-INF/lib/, so if your GroupWise Webaccess page is blank check the permissions on your jar files.
